From the 2022 Vintage, A little dirt, a punch of acidity, and Casavecchia’s signature note of red grapefruit lingering on the finish. This is a table wine with style. It has body, texture, and takes its time opening up. But it’s so worth getting to know. Great with Pizza, Red Sauce Spaghetti and Grilled Chicken with a little chill. Organic no certification. Like the name says- Its "Just a Liter" - 1 Liter of Red wine! 

Casavecchia is a medium bodied Indigenous red grape variety from Southern Italy- think Napoli outskirts. Aia delle Monache ("Place of the Monarch" ) is a small winery focused on Organic and Low-Intervention winemaking by Vittorio Verzillo and his winemaker Genarro Reale. Aia delle Monache wines are exception quality and also interesting to drink as the grapes are only grown in the Caserta area of Campania in the area known as Terre del Volturno.
